I starting working for CAM Supported Living after working for Breaks-Away Respite Services. I never thought I'd be working in the care sector, as my job background is very different. I get a lot out of working with our service users and I often learn new things from them too. I love helping them to live as independently as possible in all areas of their day-to-day lives, be that helping them in their voulunteering roles, having fun, baking or just going out and about.

I have worked for CAM Supported Living since they formed, which is just over four years. All the people I work for are lovely - both clients and staff. The clients all like going out and about, with some doing volunteer work as well as meeting up with their friends and family. Some live in supported living and are encouraged to be independent by taking their own medication, as well as day-to-day chores such as cooking and cleaning.
