Supporting
INDEPENDENCE.

Independent living is a right, not a reward!

Our philosophy is simple - disabled adults have the right to live an independently as possible, in their own homes while being able to make as many decisions for themselves as and when they choose.

OUR STORY

The company was founded in 2020, following a direct request made to the Directors whether they could provide supported living to two clients as requested by their families.  The Directors already had experience is providing care to disabled adults via their sister company, and due to the high level of care given to those service users who had enjoyed the benefits of the business, the parents of two of those service users wanted the Directors to provide care for their loved ones.

How we started .....

From scratch, the Directors set up a new company during the Covid pandemic and compiled a comprehensive care package for each service user, based on requirements and guidance from Adult Social Care and the clients / families to the standards expected by the Care Quality Commission (CQC).   Detailed company policies were drafted alongside documentation that enabled the detailed reporting and logging of events, medication records, well-being and evidence of independent living.

Where we are now .....

After a very sucessful first year, the company secured further funding from Adult Social Care to continue the care of the service users with ten part-time employees covering a 24hr shift pattern, 7 days a week.  With the company systems and processes in place that were proven to work effectively, the Directors are working towards CQC regulation in 2022.  Once achieved, the company will look to expand albeit abiding by its mantra of 'quality not quantity'.
